Avalanche Sudoku — 3D Sudoku That Collapses
Avalanche is a variant of the Sudoku cube. You face a big cube built from many small sub-cubes, and every time you complete a section those sub-cubes collapse and slide away like an avalanche. The puzzle literally shrinks as you progress — part Sudoku deduction, part the satisfaction of demolishing the cube layer by layer.
How Avalanche Sudoku works
The rules are still 3D Sudoku: no digit repeats along a line as it folds over the cube's edges. The trick is to target the sub-cubes closest to completion to trigger a collapse — clearing one exposes fresh, easier faces of the structure, which sets up the next collapse. Start the first avalanche and the rest often cascades.
Played on the bigger cubes
Avalanche runs on the larger 6³ and 9³ cubes — only at that size does the collapse have room to cascade. It's more kinetic than the standard Cube, made for players who already know 3D Sudoku and want a fresh thrill.

Frequently asked questions
What is Avalanche Sudoku?
Avalanche is a 3D Sudoku variant played on a large cube made of smaller sub-cubes. As you finish a section, those sub-cubes collapse and avalanche away, so the puzzle literally shrinks as you solve it.
How is it different from the standard 3D Cube?
The Cube is pure spatial Sudoku. Avalanche adds the collapsing mechanic on top, giving it a falling, match-style rhythm — same cube logic, very different feel.
What sizes can I play?
Avalanche runs at the larger cube sizes (6³ and 9³), where the collapse has room to cascade.
Is Avalanche Sudoku free?
Yes — completely free in your browser, with no download and no account.
Can I race Avalanche with friends?
Yes. Avalanche is one of the modes you can play head-to-head in multiplayer — create a room, share the link, and solve the same cube at the same time.
